I was told my hard drive is bad. Is that the big box on my desk?
Many people think their computer is called the hard drive. It is the computer. The hard drive is in the computer and looks like this.
It confuses the issue when you call for service because your hard drive is not working, but you really mean your computer. The hard drive is used to store information, data, programs, and your operating system.
